Chris, then contacted multiple local Urologists in St. Lucie and Martin County. Each Urologist inquired about his Insurance Coverage, which he had recently obtained through the Obama Affordable Care Act. One Urologist in particular, asked that he pay his entire $7,000 cash deductible in advance. If the monetary burden was not enough, the earliest appointment he was able to obtain was 3-4 months.
